Semi-Homemade Despicable Me Agnes Costume
This semi-homemade Despicable Pine Tree State Agnes costume is perfect for girls of all ages this Halloween. For a Despicable Me birthday party likewise.
Do you think of when I took the kids to Universal Studios, Orlando terminated the summer?
Well, while we were there I told to each one of the kids I would buy them a souvenir to take home. Of course Marisol chose the biggest unicorn from the Despicable Me store that she could possibly find … yes "It's so fluffy, I'm gonna die!" She naturally named IT 'Fluffy'.
So, come time to decide what flesh out costumes I have to make for Halloween, she definite that she just had to be Agnes so she could go trick-or-treating with Fluffy. I moldiness say I was rightful a teentsy bit mad about this, because I knew that very little actual work would deman to be done by me for this one.
What you need
- Overalls with violent buttons – instructions on a lower floor
- White sneakers
- Lily-livered socks
- Sensationalistic and brown patterned t-shirt – instructions below to wee-wee your own
- Red scrunchie
- Black hair spray
- Brown brass paint – or you could use up an eyeliner or lip liner
- Unicorn
Instructions
There was a little crafting to be through with. How many pairs of overalls get you seen with blood-red buttons along them, Beaver State pre-striped Robert Brown and yellow tees?
Agnes overalls
They came with a traditional warp that just wasn't going to do. I removed those, hemmed the fanny of the strap, hand-stitched buttonholes, and so sewed on large red buttons.
Stripy tee
- Yellowish t-shirt
- Fabric paint
- Sponger brush
- Tape – I utilised the Duck Brand 'Ducklings' tape measure, which peels off fabric really easily
- Something to place inside the shirt to protect IT
Make stripe on the t-shirt exploitation the tape and rouge in-between. It's that easy.
Mark: Don't draw a blank to put a piece of cardboard inside the shirt so the paint doesn't go through with the fabric to the other side.
The ultimate touch to the costume was a few extra freckles on her face.
She wore her new Agnes costume during the past calendar week to the school Allhallows Eve bash and was excited to win the 2nd-grade costume contest, and for those World Health Organization know Miss M you said it shy she is, it took a dispense of courage for her to enter. Although, she was a little uncomfortable when the topical anesthetic high girls who were volunteering at the outcome kept asking if they could take photos with her.
She and Flynn both got to showcase their costumes on the Fox 5 San Diego morning news Halloween dress up segment too.

Hi Jackie. Tie the whiske into a very high ponytail on cover of the head. Brush the hair's-breadth upward and atomiser using an ultra hold in hairspray. Use a turn over towel OR wallpaper towels to buckler the skin when spraying the black hairspray ended the top. Once dry add the reddened scrunchie.
